Manhattan Beach

When you're younger, little brothers tend to be sort of obnoxious; but when they grow up a bit they can be pretty awesome! Today the hubs and I got to meet up with my Logan at Manhattan Beach. We were walking down the sidewalk and out of nowhere, walking down the sidewalk is this tall, beard-wearing guy in bright blue shorts, a bright printed shirt and a florescent Tweetie Bird hat...on backwards. :)

We got ice cream, walked around the pier and grabbed lunch. It was a beautiful day spent with two of my favorite guys!

Family Camping Trip

This weekend we got to join the family for a fun beach camping trip! We had a blast relaxing and hanging with everyone and Lady was stoked to hang outside all weekend, she loves sleeping in the RV. :)

After waking up and having breakfast, I took Lady outside to lounge around and play around the campsite. She ran around and loved every minute!

After lunch, the hubs and I took Lady for a long walk around the campground. We off-roaded a bit to wonder through the wildflowers. I don't think Lady has ever sniffed around quite as much as she did then. :)

We finally made it to the beach and we got to use the jean quilt for the second time! It was a beautiful day spent with some of our favorite people!

Loft Decor Project

We've been working on putting the loft together and I decided to make a collage of pictures of the Meridian Lane animals! I experimented with some different ideas before settling on this photo strip look, but I really love the way it came out!

A Hat and a Dog

Lady got a haircut yesterday and is looking extra adorable so we took some pictures at work today! Of course she wouldn't hold still for the pictures, but they still came out pretty cute!

The Bean's in Disneyland

I've been so excited to see the Bean's! They're going to Disneyland for a family vacation and the hubs and I got to hang out with them in the happiest place on Earth tonight. We got to join them for lunch at the Rain Forest Cafe then perused the park eating snacks and riding as many rides as we could. It's so crazy to think that a few short years ago we were all neighbors and now we're married and (some of us) are having kids! :)

Valentine's Day 2015

This year we decided to celebrate Valentines Day a little early with a special dinner at the Melting Pot. Fondue is one of our favorite things and the hubs is constantly talking about how much he wants to bust out the fondue set we got for the wedding! I'm going to have to find some yummy fondue recipes soon!

Best Friends and Happy Places

This Saturday was one of the best we've had in a while! Not only did we get to pick up the new couch for the loft, but we got to spend all day with some of our best friends. The hubs and I have been working really hard on getting furniture refinished and fixed up to get the loft functional, and I can't wait to see it all put together. :)


The boys picked up the couch together, while Tina and I ran errands and got pizza for lunch. After the couch was successfully lugged up the stairs, we headed to Disneyland! Needless to say, spending a day at the Happiest Place on Earth with a group of your best friends makes for a day well spent!
